MRS Football tournament - 3rd July 2011

Ohal participated in the annual MRS Football tournament for the 15th year. Team Ohal were looking to regain the title won in 2009.

The Ohal A team went unbeaten in the group stages of the MRS 5 a side football tournament but narrowly missed qualifying for the quarter finals.

Despite a record of 2 wins and 2 draws and without conceding any goals, the complicated calculations at the heart of the group system condemned Ohal A's to an early trip home from Hanwell Town.

The Ohal B team battled valiantly but ultimately without the ruthlessness they required up front, and took 1 point from their 4 games.

We shall be back next year...
